Warranty Information
"I didn't realise AdminBase could do that!"
Wouldn't it be great if you had all the warranty information for a customer at the push of a button? Adminbase can display the ‘Remaining Warranty’ periods for products used on a contract.
With the following simple setup, the warranty information can be automatically displayed for each contract.
In Settings > Company Settings > Contract Settings > Service Calls, create a list of guarantee types.
For each guarantee type created, specify the guaranteed items and the guarantee period.
In Settings > Company Settings > Contract Type Defaults > Products & Deliveries, guarantee types can be specified for default products
Contracts created using Default Products will have the guarantee information already populated for each product used.
Also, in the product tab within a contract, the appropriate guarantee type for each product can be selected
On the service calls tab, the "Warranty Periods remaining" is displayed. The information dynamically resizes according to the amount of data to be displayed
After initial setup, the warranty remaining information for each contract is always available in Service Calls.
