How to raise and send an invoice [Video]

In this training video, you can learn how to raise and send an invoice from the finance tab within a contract. This includes how to enter finance information and recording payments.

In Brief

  • Navigate to a Contract and open the Finance Tab

  • Enter the charges for the contract into the Charged column. Enter the gross value and use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + S to net down this value

  • Click the Invoice button, select the lines you would like to invoice and either click Preview, Print or Email

  • When printing or emailing the invoice, you have to enter an invoice number and the number of copies you would like

  • Enter any payments received into the Paid column, and mark both the payment and the invoiced charge line as Clear

  • A copy of the invoice can be found within the documents tab
