How to set up warranty information [Video]

In this training video, you can learn how to set up different guarantee types and attach them to a product. This includes how to find the remaining warranty for a contract.

In Brief

  • Navigate to SettingsCompany SettingsContract SettingsService Calls

  • Create different guarantee types by adding lines into the Guarantee Names table

  • Within each guarantee type, you need to create warranty periods for product types. So add different product types into the Guarantee Definitions table and add the warranty length for each item

  • Within SettingsProducts, add a guarantee to each product using the Guarantee dropdown

  • To start the warranty period, open a Contract and within the Fitting tab enter the Date Installation Completed

  • The remaining warranty can be found at the bottom of the Service Calls tab
