How to set up default lead and contract numbers [Video]

In this training video, you can learn how to change the default next lead and contract numbers. This includes how to find the highest number previously used.

In Brief

  • Navigate to Settings → Company Settings → Numbering Settings

  • Click Get Next to find the highest number previously used

  • You can overtype this number to start a new numbering system (e.g. 10001) but make sure that this is higher than any previous numbers. Click Apply to save this change

  • The next time you add a new lead or contract it will start from the new number you just defined
